Sadie Amara Calvano has become well-known for her character Violet Plunkett that she played on the CBS comedy Mom. Calvano grew up in California She was at first interested at competitive gymnastics. Later, however, Calvano decided to focus on acting as a profession. Her first appearance on screen was on the screen in 2010 with the episode of CBS's NCIS. Her big-screen debut occurred a year later in the biographical film of crime drama 'J Edgar'. She has become one of the hottest actresses over the last few years. In 2011 she won a Young Artist Award nomination for the Best Actress in TV Series and guest Actress 11-15. In 2013, Calvano was selected again to receive an award called a Young Artist Award. This is for her role on Disney XD's 'Kickin' It'. Calvano was a part of Mom's initial three seasons. She she also appeared in several episodes during the fourth. Her performance on 'Mom" was recognized with an award called the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
